[11/02/06] Do blind people dream in color?
This has been the topic of discussion at many a Strong family dinner table...well, not actual discussion, more like something I throw out there when the conversation turns to nonsense. But I wonder about it. And so should you. Do blind people dream in color? Do they see anything at all in their dreams, and if they do, do they see things as they actually are or how they imagine things would look? Or do blind people just dream in sounds and touches and smells and tastes...and braille? This raises another question. Do deaf people dream in sign language and/or lip reading? Or can they hear and comprehend what they hear in their dreams? And what about Helen Keller? That blows my mind! Of course the easy solution would be to just ask someone who is blind or deaf. But no.
