"We may learn about God as we learn about other cultures. He has not revealed all his knowledge to any one culture. But each culture can make a significant contribution to our understanding about who God is and how he works in the world..."
"When we seek to understand and learn from other cultures, we honor God. God gives us additional insight and wisdom as we gain knowledge from others. Learning and understanding are sacred activities because they draw us closer to God and creation..."
"When we discover the validity of other cultures' ways, we not only discover the beauty and diversity of God's own character, but we discover something about ourselves and are freed to change in ways that better reveal our Creator to others."
